Mass Appeal was founded as a graffiti zine in 1996. By the early 2000s, it became one of the preeminent publications around urban creative culture, breaking open careers and making names for creatives, from Alife and Graphic Havoc to SP One.
Mass Appeal became the standard for avant-garde street-meets-pop culture exploring the edges, combining top talent with up-and-comers. It included columns from R.A. the Rugged Man, Matt Goias, Mister Cartoon, Estevan Oriol and Reas.

Spring 2014 saw the second issue of Mass Appeal since the reboot in 2013.
Under Editorial Director, Sacha Jenkins SHR each issue had a theme that loosely united the stories. The theme for this issue was the collector’s mentality. The diversity of interests and the shared quality of obsession that leads to greatness.

In addition to creative direction of the magazine, we developed the branding and identity of franchises for print and web— establishing ongoing content channels with names and logos.

We expanded Mass Appeal to a full lifestyle brand by introducing a streetwear capsule at the Agenda Trade Show.
