Converse built their brand around the creative expression of youth movement(s). The Movements of self-expression = art, music, and culture.
Skateboarding has as much (or likely more) to do with self-expression as it does with athleticism.

Relationships are the often overlooked element in a creative person’s output. We carry a false myth of creativity as inspiration and singular vision. But it is often inspiration and cross-fertilization that leads to innovation.
Movements was concepted as a way to merge all three brand pillars into a single collaborative entity.
The Movements video series would showcase those creative relationships. A buddy film of sorts where the creative relationship was core to the story. We brought together the film’s protagonists, Aaron and Tom, worked with videographer Richard Quintero and composer, Nick Sadler to collaborate on an original soundtrack built with resources from the Converse Sample Library.
The final mix was created at the Converse Rubber Tracks studio. Upon the video’s release, we supplied sound stems and loops to launch a remix contest bridging the creative communities of music and skateboarding.
